Comments: The Bandits decide to take a flyer on Russian defensive prospect, Alexei Emelin, causing quite stir among the GMs in attendance; all of the GMs agree that Emelin is talented, but with so many other talented players still on the table, some questioned making him such a high choice.

Comments: The Omsk, with their second 1st rounder, solidify their club’s future between the pipes with the selection of talented netminder Al Montoya.
